He’s just trying to dilute the field since he was caught promoting accounts that share child porn and misogyny from an incel perspective.

Hold up, you're upset that a Republican came up with what you think is a good idea, and a Democrat agrees and wants to implement it to make the US better?
You... you get that's the point? That all politicians should implement policies to make things better, regardless of what side of the aisle the idea came from. That's literally why there are debates. To refine ideas for implementation.

Anyone who still uses Xitter is an idiot. Full stop. I wish CP would remove the ability to embed Xitter references. They only allow the spread of stupidity and ignorance.
The Project 2025, or "Mandate for Leadership, The Conservative Promise", is real. The Hertiage Foundation created the almost thousand-page document and the Heritage Foundation is the most influential think tank for conservatives since Reagan. It has been providing policy recommendations for decades as a slow drip. Project 2025 is one of the most dangerous policy documents ever published as it clearly lays out the roadmap to an unconstitutional authoritarian redesign of government where the majority have no rights over the fruits of their labor, their minds, nor their bodies. The top 1% will be the benefit of every advantage. All the protective mechanisms put in play that makes the nation stronger and safer will be replaced with policies that allow corporations and the rich to profiteer and pollute. To put it politely, these policies turn would turn the whole country into West Virginia or Mississippi.

It's not just Trump to worry about, though. The entire Republican party is made of of weirdos who want to foist this on America. Maybe time to flush the lot of them and start over.

Fireitup: You’re slamming Harris because she’s pushing something that Trump is also advancing but ignoring tens of thousands of his lies (source: Daniel Dale), 34 criminal convictions, more charges, sexual transgressions, giving away state secrets, he and his spawn grifting the country…. Pathetic!

You're use of the above, shows your certainly not interested in the below. Heavily edited footage without context isn't useful for anyone actually interested in learning about an issue

To me, this just shows how ignorant conservatives are about "the team" they cheer for. Trump can try to run away from Project 2025, but the Heritage Foundation guided his hand during his presidency. He can try and distance himself from the think tank, but JD Vance was handpicked by the Heritage Foundation as his running mate. JD Vance writes the forward for "Dawn's Early Light", a book by Kevin D. Roberts (President of the Heritage Foundation), a narrative about the implementation of the ideals and policies instilled in Project 2025. Just like everything Trump says, his distancing from Project 2025 is a massive lie. His actions speak louder than the verbal diarrhea that falls from that slovenly mouth.

the proposed border bill was a prime example of "the team" being more important than the issue. Just couldn't stomach handing Biden a win.
"We want you to fix the border!"
- "Okay, here's a bipartisan border bill to fix it"
- "... noooooo, not like that!"
bunch of losers.

What are the odds that Fireitup is just Yoho? I mean the join date is throwing me off I guess.
Regardless it was really obvious that the dude should be put on ignore immediately if only to avoid having to scroll past posts with 8 youtube videos in them; get the memo folks.

Is it so hard to believe their is another person as bad as Yoho out there? Because I gotta say, I'd be more surprised that it is limited to two of them.

I doubt he's Yoho, but you never know simply because everyone in that sphere basically recycles the same 10-15 Tweeters/YouTubers/Truth Socialites. I would say some common courtesy to spoiler posts with eleventy billion YouTube videos would be nice, but the goal is to spread their #### so spoilering it doesn't help that.

Yeah, this posting style is not remotely unique, it just doesn’t occur here very often and for whatever reason people on this board are uniquely unequipped to handle it.

Here is Trump in his own words speaking to the Heritage Foundation, the creators of Project 2025, in 2022:
https://twitter.com/user/status/1811402883604050216
The head of the Heritage Foundation has briefed Trump directly about the Project.
Quote:
Kevin Roberts (head of the Heritage Foundation) told The Washington Post in an interview in April of 2024 that he had previously discussed Project 2025 with Trump as part of offering briefings to all presidential candidates. “I personally have talked to President Trump about Project 2025,” he said in the interview, “because my role in the project has been to make sure that all of the candidates who have responded to our offer for a briefing on Project 2025 get one from me.”
|

Former Trump administration officials are heavily involved in the creation of Project 2025:
Quote:
More than 140 former members of the Trump administration are involved with Project 2025, according to CNN, including six of his former Cabinet secretaries—and several people authored chapters whom the Post reports Trump has suggested could be in his second administration, including former advisor Peter Navarro, former Housing Secretary Ben Carson and former acting Defense Secretary Christopher Miller.
|
link
The head of Project 2025 has said that they speak directly to Trump and his team.
Quote:
“We talk to President Trump, and we also talk to his team,” Dans told me. “The reality is that we have a great complement of people here that are extremely effective and who were in the prior administration, and we have a hundred [allied] organizations with thousands of people at work. You can’t help but not use this work.”
|
link
The most valuable thing about Project 2025, in their own words, is the database of candidates they have cultivated to work in a Trump administration, and execute the vision.
Quote:
Project 2025’s most cherished resource. The personnel database, Chretien told me, was a significant part of what distinguished Project 2025 from Heritage’s past transition efforts: The think tank wasn’t just issuing white papers; it was building a network of vetted and loyal foot soldiers who could be trained and ready on Day One. Even if Trump lost, he said, the database could serve as a resource for the conservative movement for decades to come.
|
link
Just today, ProPublica published 14 hours of 'training videos' produced by Project 2025, in what they refer to as their "Presidential Administration Academy." These videos are designed to train the people in the database the best way to execute the vision of the Project. The majority of those involved have worked for Trump.
Quote:
The Project 2025 videos coach future appointees on everything from the nuts and bolts of governing to how to outwit bureaucrats. There are strategies for avoiding embarrassing Freedom of Information Act disclosures and ensuring that conservative policies aren’t struck down by “left-wing judges.” Some of the content is routine advice that any incoming political appointee might be told. Other segments of the training offer guidance on radically changing how the federal government works and what it does.
...
A review of the training videos shows that 29 of the 36 speakers have worked for Trump in some capacity — on his 2016-17 transition team, in the administration or on his 2024 reelection campaign.
|
link
Trump is a liar. He has publicly disavowed Project 2025 because it is politically damaging, however, if he is elected he will use the people involved and execute as much of the project as possible.

I think it’s more disbelief that somebody can be so obtuse. so we try and help by pointing out the basic logical fallacies in his posts.
It’s the same instinct where I would help somebody at the grocery reach the top shelf.
But quickly you realize either fireitup can’t be helped or is purposefully ignorant.
So you put him on ignore

He's certainly getting the reaction he wants.
It is a little funny that someone would post Twitter links and think they are informative. It's just folks addicted to their social media echo chambers, and at this point you're fully supporting Musk if you're using it.
Wish I could put the whole platform on "ignore".
