You cherry pick and selectively post "evidence" that already aligns with your viewpoint, while ignoring every single other piece of evidence that is to the contrary of that point. You are the walking embodiment of confirmation bias. It's not compelling anyone to think otherwise because we all have eyes, ears, and a bit more ability to weigh out the balance of evidence than you do.
You're wasting time and energy. Instead of posting that ####, go read an actual book that might teach you something about politics. I'm sure we can offer some suggestions from a neutral viewpoint if you're worried about bias.
Look at me...wasting my own time and energy responding to you. I'm a fool.

You could start with the NABJ interview last week and go back in time. The receipts are out there. If you want to convince yourself that Donald Trump isn't racist, maybe it's time to reflect about one's own convictions.

I don't think many of you know what racism means.
Again, can anyone here show me the proof of him being racist? I'll wait.

I'll give credit to FireItUp for this: While he basically is Yoho reincarnate, he at least posts his thoughts and doesn't just post the right wing social media grift posts and bounces like Yoho did. Sure his thoughts aren't his own and just what he's been told to think, but at least he articulates and can be viewed as a human being and not just an aggregator.

Most (many?) Republicans don't like Donald Trump. They just don't like what they hear from Fox News about progressive policies more.
Not saying Fox News is telling the truth obviously. Just that the viewers believe what is told to them. They literally believe that California is aborting babies after birth. They actually think that children are being permitted to use litter boxes in bathrooms. They think Democratic cities (which is pretty much all of them) are Purge like hellscapes of crime.
They honestly believe this stuff. They think America has gone insane with leftist policies. Any contrary facts are "mainstream media" and cannot be trusted.
They see and know that Trump is a buffoon. But he's a means to getting the GOP in power, and they want that pushback against the stuff Fox tells them.
They hold their nose and vote for him. Some religious overlap there too. If you think the bible is real, and abortion is honestly infant murder, he's your guy.
This doesn't apply to the ones at the rallies of course - those folks are in a cult. You don't have power in your own life, so you listen to the strongman who played "Boss" on reality TV and feel good about stomping the "other".

Saying there were very fine people on both sides when describing the Charlottesville rally is at least proof that he thinks white supremacists are very fine people.
I believe his talk of tens of millions of rapists, murderers and insane asylum South Americans is rallying racist xenophobes.

Oh, I'm sure someone could produce a mountain of legal documents, written statements, and video evidence, but it'd be a waste of time.
Here's the thing: When someone, such as yourself, shows such an extreme level of confirmation bias towards a viewpoint, there's this thing that happens when evidence is presented to the contrary of that viewpoint. Cognitive dissonance: the distinct feeling of discomfort over holding two valid yet completely contradictory points of fact in your head at the same time.
Now most people can process cognitive dissonance okay, but usually there's a bit of a mental struggle to square the circle, and often they have to make some compromise on one point or the other...sometimes both.
What people with strong confirmation bias do when experiencing cognitive dissonance is to find some way to disqualify the evidence of the viewpoint they don't wish to believe, or worse, start believing in conspiracy theories that disavow that viewpoint and support their own. This is the "doubling-down" effect that is common, and it's why there's no point in trying to convince you of anything.
Don't feel too bad, you're not alone. Lots of people do this. It's far easier to stay in a place of mental comfort than to re-assess your deepest held beliefs. Stay nestled in your warm bed if you want to, it's fine. But the adults are talking here. Either join in an adult conversation or save your trash for your facebook account.
