Was it the jersey off their backs night? Yeah, I'd definitely reach out to the Flames to see if they could replace it for obvious reasons.

Interesting question.

I was reading the article and they unanimously requested 'Trial by Jury.'

Now, I'm no fancy 'Big City Lawyer' or nuthin' but to me? That kind of screams that they're hoping 'Jr. Hockey Hero' Status will play with the Jury and in fairness, it just well might.

What happens after that is anyone's guess. I suppose they could sign for the Oilers.

They requested it because for sexual assault claims where consent is the issue, you may be able to sway a jury, who don't have to explain their reasons. Plus, you can always waive the request later.

I would almost bet that the Oilers would have already tried to sign Hart but I'm sure the NHL has sent some pretty clear guidance to stay away.
