Not gonna lie. I'm enjoying watching Tanner Houck get lit up. Even if it is the All Star Game.

Article on Sportsnet about the Jays wanting to host the All-Star game soon because it's been so long.

But it made me laugh; if it had been held this year, it would have been a disaster with all the flooding downtown. And when the NBA had their all-star game here, it was iirc the coldest day of the year; not exactly an advertisement for star players to play there.

Mariners who have completely cratered trade for Arozarena. He's had an off year and not many games vs the Jays now. So I don't know if he'll spark them enough. But their hitting has been horrific.

I don’t know the prospects, but it seems to be a steal for the Mariners. Tampa has a way with these things but it doesn’t seem like the highest of ceiling players.

I hate both these teams with a burning passion. But this Yankees vs Red Sox game has been incredible baseball tonight.

Some good games between unpopular teams today. Astros walk off the Dodgers 7-6 after being down 5-0.

The White Sox are 27-88. The modern day record is the Tigers in 2003 at 43-119 and the expansion Mets 40-120

Hasn't played since June 30th, was DFAed by the Marlins.

He had -1.3 fWAR this season. He's cooked.

Surprised at no mention of the pioneer of money ball, Billy Beene passing away. Certainly an interesting guy within the history of the sport.

Wrong guy.

Billy Bean, an MLB exec passed away at 60 from Leukemia.

Billy Beane, the moneyball guy and still As exec and part owner is still alive at 62.

I saw that Billy Bean passed and knew it wasn't the Moneyball guy as his photo looked nothing like Brad Pitt.

Jeez, I've been conflating these two people forever, and thought the money ball Billy Beane was gay. I was also confused why there wasn't a bigger deal about his death.

Me as well. I was confused in the movie that he had a wife/daughter. I didn't realize there were two different people
