The outcome of how the witnesses were treated was fully in control of the Liberals and NDP. Note how the Bloc came out the best out of this whole exchange? That's because they didn't resort to the petty level the Liberals and NDP did.
Why don’t you answer the question? Things 3 times now and you haven’t answered it.

As to why it matters if the conservatives knew this was the foreseeable outcome and didn’t prep there witness for it they are political opportunists. If they knew and prepped her then describing the person as being revictimized is ridiculous and you are just using other people’s victimhood to score political points. So yeah your opinion on if you think the conservatives anticiapated this or not is a meaningful question to this entire discussion.

How exactly could they anticipate a dismissive and insulting reaction, especially coming from a female representative.

I thought this would be a non-partisan issue.

For those of us with our thinking caps on this has already been answered twice.

Haha, I thought that we already put to bed that I'm not in here enough to read through 9 pages of parliamentary discussion. It's page before, and then see what's up. Someone was being badgered to answer a question, so I answered for him.

It seems like very wishful thinking that the conservative MPs knew that the guests would be treated the way that they were. It's like bringing in a Make-A-Wish kid, and then having the PM call him a fat bitch, and quickly change the subject.

It's a super weird reaction.

If it's been covered, I hope that the obvious conclusion is the one met. Every politician will take an opportunity to be ######y. I'm not going back two pages to check. Out of spite.

The Liberals doing Liberal things. we should always assume they’ll find a way to be deplorable.

Will be very interesting to see what the Canadian economy does next 6 months.

Liberals can't blame anything on the CPs, and the CPs can't take credit for anything they did in their last term.

Are we going to hit the soft landing and avoid a bloodbath?

Maybe they should admit they based their business decisions on wildly outlandish growth projections:

Spoiler!

Q2 and Q3 looked strong as well:

Some of the recorded gaps between BEV sales growth and overall powertrain sales growth were very substantial – for example, 62% vs. 17% in the USA, and 59% vs. 18% in Germany. PwC Autofacts recent study of market trends suggests that this strong BEV sales performance will continue, with projected growth of 35% in all analyzed markets in 2024.

Yeah. This weird idea that electric vehicle sales are down because Ford tried going from 30,000 EVs to 300,000 in one year and it didn't work seems strange. The numbers are still climbing. The vibes are down, but numbers don't really support it

so 14,000 people, from around the globe, attended Poilievre's rally in a 100 seat arena in Kirkland Lake, and tweeted the exact same messages after.

Wasn’t Pierre involved with the robocall controversy a decade or so ago?

This doesn’t seem beneath him.

So I was curious and I just checked one at random @yeppsenia and join date July 2024 and Samara, Russia

Her Tweets include having cries of joy when Kamala Harris announced her presidential bid, being stuck commuting on Majura Parkway (Canberra / Australia) 4 days ago, a German proud tweet, and even hockey stuff like a rant about Stan Bowman

Several other accounts like @vicdmhkie shown are already suspended and most don't even show. @bqjperry is one I found to still exist, Oregon, OH. Several of the account does have some traces of existing with similar complaints about random tweets being sent.

Most of the tweets in the still active accounts don't even make sense to buy and certainly are not what you would expect if it was a paid shill bot.

To the chagrin of the poster above, it appears unlikely to be Poilievre shenanigans based on this. But it is yet another indication of how the threat of foreign interference and the misinformation campaign has to be taken seriously including within our government ranks. The current social media noise is pretty much a lie, and many innocuous comments, even ones without any clear motive, are fake.

Guys it’s not skippy’s shenanigans, it’s just Russian interference in favour of PP.

ALL GOOD!

I looked at a different poster yesterday and saw the same things - german pride, random aussie posts, hockey talk, Venezuela election posts... a fairly short collection of random tweets. Maybe they are just to make the poster look real (a failed attempt) or maybe some of them are to amplify different messages for different audiences. If the latter, the bot farm is supporting multiple campaigns sponsored by one or more clients. I agree this looks more like disinformation.

The truly evil thing about disinformation is that the original intent cannot be known and is open to interpretation. Is this a ham-handed promo by the PP campaign, or election interference in favour or PP, or an attempt to discredit PP, or...? A person could take any of those positions depending on their perspectives. Nasty stuff.

They could also be hacked stolen accounts. A lot of people have abandoned Xitter.

To the chagrin of a poster above me, it’s obvious that PP hired a Russian bot farm to influence the election by generating posts that support him with the intent of making it so obvious that they were supporting him that it would make it LOOK like someone else was doing it to sully his name, thus subverting the entire complex Russian bot farm ecosystem into a Machiavellian scheme where by he is both perpetrator and victim! Conniving and yet sympathetic!

False false flag! False false flag!

Its like the banker wars. Funding both sides, sitting back and enjoying the profits.

Same thing with social media bots. Manipulating both sides, sitting back and laughing at everyone.

But remember, my side doesn't do that. Only your side does, amirite?

It’s just so confusing who we are allowed to “both sides” about and who we are not.
