Wow damn, that truth bomb hurts. You've convinced me.
I'm voting for Trump now. Where do I sign to join the cult?

Once they let you in see if you can get them to let you mix the Kool aid. Problem solved.

Sounds like someone just got back from a long weekend of protesting freedom on Highway 1 by the Petro Can... lol

Only 22% of Americans say they have no religious affiliation. That number is even lower (20%) for immigrants.

What is your citation for this?
Pew reports here (admittedly from 2021) that it was 29%.
https://www.pewresearch.org/religion...-unaffiliated/
I’d expect it to be even higher now given how Covid hit the over 65’s, and how many churches were against masking and social distancing.

I'd imagine the Dems were stoked to have a politically inclined Kennedy. Until...they heard him talk a bunch

I expect when people post blistering tirades against religion and the ####ing morons who indoctrinate their children, they’re imagining white men. Makes it easier to hate them, I suppose. But maybe next time they’re about to press Submit Reply, they could picture a Black woman, or a Muslim immigrant as the person who believes scripture is the word of God. It might make them pause and dial back the hate a bit.

Nah, I condemn them all proportionally to their lunacy in terms of imposing their beliefs on others (including their own community).Abdicating your personal beliefs to peer pressure or groupthink is always silly, but especially so when its rooted in fairy tales.
Basic tolerance paradox stuff.

Nor did it reference a race. Religious zealotry and fundamentalism is not dependent on any given race. The only one who brought race into this discussion was YOU. Classic CliffFletcher. Try to cast stones but break the windows in his own house.

What point are you trying to make? Religion and Christofascism is the problem, not the color of anyone's skin.

That's some pretty racist #### right there.
Color does not determine religious affiliation. Color is irrelevant to religion. The problem is the absolute level of stupidity required to allow Harry Potter fan fiction to control your life and make it central to everything you do. When you surrender yourself to this nonsense you deserve every bit of derision you receive because you become the enemy of reason. When you attempt to force those twisted beliefs on others you deserve to be considered a pariah and become the enemy of free thought. When you turn that belief political and attempt to subjugate entire nations you deserve to be considered a blight and you become the enemy of humanity. Fundamentalism is the ultimate enemy here and Christofascists are attempting to make the United States a fundamentalist state. The founding fathers saw what religious oppression did to Europe and were not going to allow that to happen to their new country. They disagreed on a lot in birthing the nation, but that was something they agreed upon.

It’s not a cult. Those are obviously very serious and level-headed people. They’re not unhinged folks that are cosplaying as whatever the result of Uncle Sam diddling a clown is.

It was far better to do that live interview, then it was to get a performer to twerk at a rally. Quick...tell me what policies Kamala is running on?
