Weird. I drove through/made a pit stop at Longview mid evening and it was fine. Must have missed that.. thank goodness!
Already had my car dinged up by large hail driving the 22 last summer.

The radar last night was interesting: looked like storm cloud chaos all around the city north and south outside the city limits, but Calgary itself was nestled in this little pocket of nothing. Almost looked like the storms were jumping out of the way of us.
Another warning today, we'll see if it does it again.

Were the cloud seeders hitting them? I think 2 nights ago I saw them blow down a 12.5 to under 9 before it could hit north Calgary.

Just got an emergency alert about very large hail "if weather threat approaches."
Looks like north and south of Calgary/Chestermere.
