It might be the craziest ####ing thing I’ve ever seen on the highway. This was on the #1 about halfway between golden and revelstoke. I was far enough back I maybe would have avoided the bloodshed. Thankfully the only cars were in the far lane and a head on catastrophe was avoided.

Shaved off 30 seconds though eh? Can’t wait around for the normies to figure out they too can drive fast.

Hard to say. I was about 5 vehicles back. We were all stuck behind a slow moving semi down a hill with his hazards on. And I never got any closer to the boat because I’d didn’t pass the semi until the next passing zone about 5-10km later. I passed someone later that could have been him but it was quite a while after.

I figure being a considerate driver and helping people get where they’re going with less stress probably reduces the number of people that hate me for zipper merging correctly. I don’t care if you let in 40 people before me, I’m still going to the end of the zipper and going in front of you.

They had a zipper on McKnight this week. I gleefully went to the end of the lane that was closing 6 different times in the day and got right in. Clownasses changing into the other lane 500 metres before they need to. Learn how to drive.

This happens daily on WB Glenmore between Heritage and the Deerfoot overpass; it's like they need to merge *right here and now*. Always such a huge mess for cars coming up from behind and wanting to move from WB Glenmore to the turnoff lane to Deerfoot.

Technically...if you're out there with a watering can I think you're good re: restrictions.
The Buddhist monks next door to my office made the same error, although right at the beginning of the restrictions.
So they just sent a bunch of monks out with watering cans every hour or so.
Now....where they GOT that water, I can't say. But sod sucks. You've gotta keep that soaked, it takes a lot of water.
So...do you have children? Unemployed wife? Slaves? Watering Cans? You can still sort this out.

You're allowed to use sprinklers on sod right now, but just feels like a dirtbag move when I would've gladly waited a few weeks if I bothered to check that the water restrictions were still in place.
At least it's just a few spots, not the whole lawn or anything, lol. Bring on the thunderstorms later

Do you want to hire some Buddhist monks? I can ask them for their number. I dont know what they charge though.
You might have to convert?

Plus you get to wear a pretty kick-ass colourful Toga!
The sandals are a bit of a flex in the winter though.
Although you might have to shave your head. So there is that.

All Buddhist monks' numbers are the same. One. They're one with everything.

Hey! I saw a Monk in a Toga and sandals up there repairing the roof while sucking back a dart! They make it work.

Dude as soon as my neighbour was allowed to fill their huge in-ground swimming pool and jump off their diving board all bets were off for me. I have a fake grass and xeroscaped yard combo, so I don't need a ton of water, anyway, but I'm not doing one fkn thing different at this point if people can fill pools.
I say go nuts on your sod without an ounce of guilt.

I don't see it as a dirtbag move. Everyone can water their lawn under the current restrictions, there's just a limit to which days you can do it and for a maximum of 2 hours total per week.
The only things you're not allowed to do right now are wash your car, wash other outdoor surfaces like windows or sidewalks, or fill decorative water features like fountains.

Most car washes are open when stage 1 says washing cars isn't allowed. Does the city not care? Or do they mean can't wash your car at home?
