Atkins and crew have a terrible draft record. We could always use another Austin Martin to trade for an actual Major leaguer though .

Hopefully he gets canned as soon as the season ends so we don't have to worry about who he decides to draft.

The draft happens mid season, plenty of time to fire him before then.

Yes, but I don't want him in charge of off-season moves.

We absolutely do need to replace Yimi but the guys at the far back of the 'pen can be replaced with a pre-arb arm from the minors so we can use the payroll to upgrade elsewhere. Romero and Swanson will be better next year with the injury healed and Swanson's season prep not derailed by his son almost dying.

We can spend payroll upgrading the 7th/8th spot in the bullpen or we can spend it addressing the lack of offense... I'd rather spend it on the offense.

I think a quantity rather than quality approach is a better way to fill the bullpen. Get as many cheap velocity first arms as possible (waiver claims, rule 5, low end free agents) and let them fight it out.

I expect Little, Cabrera, Pop, Green, and Romano will be there next season. Swanson might be non-tendered and move on. He can use the rest of the season to build a case to be a major leaguer somewhere next season.

I know the Jays have punted for the season. And they likely won't win 15 more games this season. But having someone like Yerry Rodriguez pitch for this team just shows how dire the Jays farm system is. That was an unacceptable inning by anyone. Walk, walk, HBP, and then had Jackson Holliday, the most over hyped prospect of our generation, hit an 0-2 meatball for his first career homerun. Just unacceptable stuff. When you have a team of minor leaguers trying to show their worth. Nothing is more deflating that watching something like that.

I wish Gausman was half as good as he used to be. Fluked his way to 9 innings last game. But he's serving up batting practice tonight.

When the seventh hitter in the order Cadillacs on a single…if I was the manager, he’d be out of the game.

And then he gets thrown out at home plate. Amazing.

Didn't know what I was expecting when the Jays were up 7-2. But it was obviously too good to be true. This is going to be a painful 2 months. At least it's fun watching Vlad hit.

This season has really taken a toll on all the Jays starting pitchers.

Looks like Genesis hates Jazz. Guess he's more of a hip-hop fan.
