Trump cares apparently.
So do apparently a lot of black voters. In polls, the Democrats went from +41 to +61 among black voters almost overnight when Harris became the nominee. Trump is now trying to convince black people that she identifies as Indian to try and weaken her appeal to ones who vote by racial preferences.

Yeah I think Harris has the upper hand now. Trump is in shambles, throwing racist fits, and showing how much he hates females that it is probably enough to piss them all off to come out and vote.
Plus if they debate she is going to whip his ass.
The question is if he loses does he go away for good?

That’s a good question. He’d still almost certainly win the nomination again if he ran and I don’t know if the party could stop him.

Most leftists are happier with Harris than Biden because she's been more vocal in her criticism of Israel. I think it's perfectly reasonable to voice concerns about Shapiro's pro-Israel stances prior to him getting the nomination if it means there's a chance the VP pick could be less of an AIPAC stooge.
That said, obviously you're not voting Republican in October if you legitimately care about Palestinians.

That had a little more legs because Warren did open herself up to some ridicule by claiming Native American heritage and the DNA reveal made things worse.
Harris is obviously half black and has never claimed otherwise. He has much weaker material to work with here and is just looking dumb.
