Good riddance.
This is what I don't understand. Israel has the technology to kill these guys one by one with little civilian casualties but in Gaza they choose to demolish an entire building to kill one person often killing dozens of innocent people.
It's strikes like this and in lebanon where it becomes obvious that Israel can kill these leaders one by one with little collateral damage that Israel is purposely commiting a genocide in Gaza.

I definitely like this approach to countering Hamas terrorism. They obviously have perfected the human shield strategy in Gaza, so go after their leaders hiding in luxury elsewhere. Everyone's happy!

Dude, it literally took me under 20 seconds to find that post. And it was you who said it. And you were even replying to pepsifree when you said it.
You posted white nationalist videos all while saying some vile racist islamaphobe comments. Those are facts.

The guy had a net worth of $4 billion and let the people he supposedly cares about, live in poverty while not even living in the place he was the political leader of. Not only that, he didn't even take his family with him. He would rather them die just to get the martyr achievement. Everybody in the world should be glad he is dead.

sadly the death probably makes things worse, he was by Hamas standards a moderate so it effs any chance of a cease fire and increases the chances of a war with Iran

Snuff can barely form a sentence while convincing himself that his own words are something somebody else made up and that I am secretly every one of the posters he doesn’t like, so in retrospect it was probably wrong of me to assume he could use the search function even when given a direct quote.
Clearly he needs an ice cream.

He was also one of the primary negotiators for a ceasefire.
Good riddance, but it’s hard to imagine taking out that guy specifically by dropping a bomb in Iran isn’t going to have some pretty grave consequences for the whole situation.

Now Israel did exactly what everyone allegedly wanted them to do. A precise strike to kill a Hamas leader. Still, Russia, China, Turkey, Qatar and, of course, Iran condemn the strike. Iran I understand, but for orhers it is weird. It shows that no matter what Israel do - short of self folding - will result in condemnations.
To give credit where the credit is due, most of pro-palestine supporters in this thread seems to approve the assassination.

And that is the difference between all of the pro-Palestine supporters in this thread and the pro-Israel ones. Yes, we are approving of the assassination because we condemn Hamas (have done so from the very beginning of this mess) while also condemning Israel for their choice to hit back in the way they're doing so, leveling everything in Gaza and ensuring the Palestinian people starve to death. We do not approve (or "understand") why Israel has chosen to shoot down agencies trying to deliver aid to the innocent women and children in the region. We do not agree that what Israel is doing is the only option or necessary.
These things, among many others, is the difference between us and them (you).

I don't think you need to be so pointed. A substantial difference is that many Palestinian sympathizers have no skin in the game except for an appeal to humanity. Isreali's fear for the wellbeing of their friends and family. *
It's an entirely different emotional scale.
* Obviously some posters and many people have friends and family in palinstine. It should go without saying.

What? That's a ridiculous take. How do you possibly know that? Do Palestinians not have friends and family too?
I know you said that at bottom of your post but then makes your whole statement wrong and irrelevant

I'm not entirely sure this was the right move at this time.
I'm guessing to not sour their relationship with Qatar, they had to wait until he was outside of Qatar. From what I've read he normally travels directly from Qatar to friendly host nations like Turkey and Iran, which are hostile to Israel. To take out Haniyeh, you have to set up an assassination in a hostile nation, like Iran, and that's not an easy task.
I do worry what the response from Iran will be. They are rattling their sabers pretty hard right now. Israel has grown pretty bold, as they've been hitting Iran everywhere without any kind of consequence, but eventually Iran will get pushed too far.
And yes, Israel is running out of people to negotiate with. Sinwar is the biggest leader left, and he seems like the type to die in his bunker fighting to the last man. That being said, maybe Haniyeh was the one holding things up.
Anyways, I'm glad this guy is dead. He was an awful human being who stole billions of dollars from Gazans to live like a king in Qatar, while setting up a network of child soldiers in Gaza to do dirty work he would never do. I do worry about the fallout though.

Peace is the solution I want, and the first step to peace is understanding. That means each side understanding each side. Isreali's are not without fear of the future, even if they are not innocent in creating a violent environment.

John Oliver did an episode this week on Israel and the West Bank. I'm not sure how anyone could defend Israel or call them innocent after watching that. Wow. Provocative, illegal, evil, entitled, delusional, apartheid, are all words that come to mind. If you have Crave, well worth the watch, particularly for our blind Israel supporters.
I think the West Bank serves as direct proof of Israel's actions speaking far louder than words. The goal is ultimately to take everything. They believe it is their god given right, and how do you logically defuse that kind of motivation?
