I actually like it a bit more than I originally did: https://www.blueskycity.ca/

I think someone was playing Qwirkle before coming up with this.

So with this new brand release of blue sky city, and the previous brand release ‘Be part of the energy’ they decide to use Heart of the new west sounding slogans when breaking ground on the new arena. Well Done

I liked heart of the new west better than either of the newer choices.

Agreed. I posted earlier that they never should have abandoned it, but rather tweaked the focus occasionally if it needed a refresh. Exactly like we see on that banner...that idea could have been a great pivot for a decade or so, then find a different way to build on it.

Which sounded like it would be a disaster according to reports last night. Way over budget and they were/are looking for ways to cut the costs and pare it back.

Can't wait to see the cost cutting measures. Remove 3 stations, no canopies on others, etc?

Trains now are off track and will be using preexisting asphalt roads.
Apparently they're switching to regular tires instead of train wheels as well.

Removing stations is a good start. Highfield is probably useless and the two Ogden stations with 1km of each other can easily become one station.

I wish we went through every road over cost with same tenacity we attack transit projects with.

My ability to buy knock off Egyptian antiques has been greatly diminished in the recent months.

They'd get a lot of support if they just skip the Ogden station.

Such foolishness on this thing. If they just built North to Ogden first future expansions would have been relatively cheap.
