Who doesn't like a snow day??
Wouldn't you rather be forced to stay home, watch movies, play in the snow with your kids/dogs and drink Baileys?
Sounds better than commuting to work in those conditions every day for months.

Aren't you out in Mission? Would not equate anything past Langley with Vancouver. Could be any interior town at that point. Although I might be confusing you with someone else.

I like my little neck of the woods but I hate going into downtown, or anything past main street. City makes it harder and harder to drive and park these days. Nice to visit that way once a year or so but wouldn't want to do it on the regular.

My take on Vancouver is it looks really nice from the Ivory Tower that is the top of Lynn Valley. All of you peasants stay on your side of the of the bridges, I'll stay on mine.

Parts of the GVRD are great... Other parts suck.

I know, shocking news.

Preach Brother!

Did a day trip up to Fromme from the Cove yesterday. It was quite lovely.

Traffic isn't great here but getting around on bike is fantastic. I commute across the Lions Gate in about the same time as my car would take me. I only use my car when it snows. It would be a bummer to live in a car-dependent city again.

I lived in Kitsilano for 8 years and White Rock for 4. Loved every minute of it.

Canucks are no good.

City of Vancouver is good.

I live in Maple Ridge now. No, it's not Vancouver.

I lived in Vancouver for the majority of my life. Feel like I can comment.

Vancouver, the city, is good.

It's off-brand San Francisco.

East Hastings might be number 1 worldwide for most vile street, so that's something.

East Hastings is like Edmonton but you actually feel bad for the people on East Hastings.

My prediction is the Canucks shall outplay the Flames for the next 6 years. Haha, that ought to provoke a response.
I happen to like both teams and they are the 2 teams I most follow…. for several years.

I don’t bother with hate and the no good sh..t.
Play hockey,
Show what you can do.

As long as they win the same number of Cups they've won in the last 53 years in the next 53 years, I'm good. I should be dead by then.

Quite the Canuck fan timing in predicting that the very summer the Flames finally commit to a rebuild.

I hate the Canucks more than I used to. I was forced to cheer for them when they played Edmonton in the playoffs. Then they blew a 3-2 series lead. Fvcking losers.

Fvck Vancouver

Go back to Vancouver. And while you're over there, watch replays of your amazing Pettersson and Hughes getting absolutely walked by a rookie.
