Same actually. I've had to receive quite a few food deliveries and conduct Kijiji transactions in the alley.
None of that explains the Amazon driver who delivered 4 packages to my house a couple months ago. One for us and the other three for two different neighbours. Either absent mindedness, laziness or basic incompetence.

In the old days, back alleys were reserved for drug transactions. Is nothing sacred?

Lol. When people Uber or use Google Maps to find my office it sends them to the Taco place up the road.

That sounds like a potential business opportunity for both businesses Locke.

When I'm bored/sad/feeling down, I go to the Pringles website and look up the different flavours from around the world in different countries, and it makes me happy. The different (and delicious) flavours everywhere is insane! Then I want to travel and go try them.

What's with the prevalence of tonneau covers vs truck toppers these days? Is it a look thing? I would agree it looks better without the topper. Is it a storage thing? Harder to store a topper vs a tonneau cover if you want it off the vehicle.
Growing up we always had toppers on our trucks, now I hardly see them anymore, and now that I'm packing for a trip with the chance of rain, hard to get everything under a tonneau vs a topper.

I found the flavours of the “world of flavours” that come to North America don’t taste quite the same. I really liked the cucumber Pringles in China, but here they taste off for some reason.

I had a topper on my truck for four years, sold it and now I have had a hard tri-fold tonneau for four years.
Plusses and minuses, but I generally like the tonneau better. I like that stuff is hidden, for one. I like that I'm not limited for height and that I can lower things into the bed from the side. I do use my truck for work and sometimes have to forklift things into it. Going from the back with the forks isn't a problem, but sometimes lowering from the side is better.
Another annoying thing with the topper is the back window gets so dirty in the winter with no way to clean it other than stopping for a squeegee at the gas station every day when it's super sloppy.
My truck bed is 5.5'. I think if I went with a 6.5' box on my next truck I'd consider a topper again, though, just so I'd have the option of making it into a little camper. I really like sleeping in vehicles for some reason.

Agreed! I wonder if they tailor the flavour profiles to the specific demographics of that country (kinda like Coke does). On a related I think the weirdest Pringle flavour I've had was the Hokkaido Scallop flavour in Japan. There was an absolutely outstanding one I had in Costa Rica earlier this year, I'll have to check what they were (I think they were the Habaneras ones).
Man I love Pringles!

I’d have to take a topper off every time I towed my 5th wheel, which is almost every other weekend in the summer. My trifold tonneau fits under the trailer cap when towing then I close it up when we’re at our destination, so I still have a somewhat secure truck bed.

Question;
What’s the best way to send money within the United States?
Caveat; the receiver (me), doesn’t have an American Bank account, and sender doesn’t have a Canadian account.

Why the hell do I get so emotional watching the opening ceremonies of the Olympics?
I’m watching with my boys and I can’t help but get pulled right into the montages, athlete entrances and spectacle of it all.
Is it patriotism?
Is it just me?

Yes. Wise is another option that worked well when my kid was travelling in Europe and I was stuck here paying for it.

Well it used to be a Cedar's Deli which, I am still convinced was a Money Laundering operation because whenever I went for a Gyro the guys working there looked really shocked.
"What? You want food? Okay...yes...we know how to make food..."
Also, when it snowed there were no car-tracks and, its the cleanest restaurant I've ever been to...as if no one goes there or uses it.
Its now a Taco place, I've been there a couple times and their Tacos are really good!
And you can get a Taco and walk to my office. You just pass the Buddhists and you're there! Is like a 3 minute walk. The whole staff and I go there for lunch sometimes.

I have a 6' bed and a topper. Two reasons -- camping gear would not fit under a tonneau, and I have a cross bars on the topper so I can put our tandem kayak on top.
The back window thing Sliver mentioned annoys me too. I bought some windex wipes I keep in the truck for the winter for that reason.
