No way there's enough there to overturn the call at first.
Tie goes to the runner.
edit: wow they actually got it right.

Not sure if this was posted yet but if this is true good on those fans for sending a message to the team instead of letting themselves get pressured into renewing just to keep their seats.
The organization as a whole really dropped the ball this season by not doing anything to show the fans the team's performance was unacceptable and kept playing the 'it's early' card.

I’ve watched a decent number of Blue Jays game last couple of years.
This year I think I’ve watched parts of two? And both of those were in the first month.
It’s nice being a fair weather fan sometimes. Shrug when the team sucks and invest time somewhere else. Kudos to the diehards though, I hope the team gets new management soon and improves the trajectory.

Oof. Someone is watching the replay and doesn't know what's about to hit them.

Not surprised, President has been silent all season,
GM seems to think they can still make a run at it next season
Lack of a plan from the Jays is scary...

The limbo for lowness continues. 13-0 at home with 2 hits.
I did note the signage for the newly opened Rogers and TD Lounges are in for those premium seats behind the plate. Undoubtedly serving $25 drinks and likely desolate.

I was going to say...would be pretty remarkable for the Jays to leave 11 on base when they only had 2 hits.
That said, even if they made that peice of baseball history and cashed in all 11 runners, they still would've lost...

Ah, based on the score I was assuming that without any thought.

If there is one team that leave 11 on base with only 2 hits, it’s the Jays

It's downright stupid. Bo and Vlad should be gone yesterday,
This iteration of the Blue Jays is done... it died an early death due to Front Office incompetence. It makes no sense to try and fix it for next season because Bo and Vlad will be gone and trying to replace their optimal contributions in free agency is a road of diminishing return on the way to payroll Hell.
They should move Bo and Vlad now. The return on them now (when the receiving team can tag them with a QO after next season and they'll have 2 stretch runs and potential playoffs) will be an order of magnitude better then what they could get next year.
Oh yeah... and Fire Atkins.

Shapiro is media savvy. Not sure why he’s so silent this year. If season ticket holders are dropping in droves, Rogers is going to want a head. I’d guess Atkins is the guy to get the chop but I can also see it going the other way and they keep him to take a run at Soto. That’d be a bad move in my books but it’s possible.
Anyway, I’d be more inclined to fire Atkins, bring him an old school heavy negotiator GM, trade both Bo and Vlad, and any pitcher aging. Get back high quality prospects and make a run in three years. Season ticket holders love a good “potential” story. Gotta bring those young guns with high potential.

Bo has played terrible this year and is now injured. I can't imagine you're getting a huge haul there.
Vlad is a different story, I suspect he'd bring back a haul worth of prospects. However, he's also the face of the franchise- it'd be a big marketing/ticket sales issue to trade him.

Wonder if the online speculation is correct, with Bo demanding a trade....
Will be a very difficult move, player is hurt and has under performed to a huge degree.,
As for management, they should clean house, multiple rep's should be fired.
Team is lacking, prospects depth is bottom 10, two star players have 1 year remaining until they are UFAs.

Why would we trade Vlad? Hes young. Turning the corner finally and wants to be here. Bo you move all day but I dont get moving Vlad as he gives you something to still sell tickets now and would still be in his prime when this team hopefully gets good.

I hesitate to make a broad statement but I truly don’t believe fans would WANT to deal vlad and bo. But they’d have to do it out of necessity to get prospects back because Atkins has done such a poor job of development. If they had some steady prospects in the hopper, then you don’t. But they do not and these may be the only two players to bring back legit prospects to stick the cupboards.
