Really? I thought 8 was a great episode. But part of that might be the joy of watching Jamie Lee Curtis. Still have to watch 9 and 10.

I just finished my rewatch of Angel 1-5, and it was every bit as good as I remember, and one of the rare TV shows with a tragic ending.

The last episode was literally a complete blood bath of the cast. with Wesley, and Lindsay dying and then the entire rest of the cast probably dying after the credits roll.

While there was lots of really huge emotional hits through season 5 with Cordelia dying, and Fred dying and being possessed by an elder god. They still had time to do just really fun ludicris episodes like "Smile Time" and "Why we fight".

I've always said that when you compare Buffy to Angle, because of the last 2 seasons of Buffy that went off of the rails, Angel is just the far better show.

You're just saying that because it was obtuse.

I’m halfway through BODKIN and I’m really enjoying it. Netflix has it listed as a comedy on my app, but it’s more a dark comedy thriller.

Just watched first two seasons of The Bear. I think this is one of the best made TV shows since Better Call Saul. And Saul appears at the flashback Xmas party!

That episode was one of my favorite episodes of any TV series. Jamie Lee Curtis, Jon Bernthal, Bob Odenkirk, and even John Mulaney with a wholesome little role.

Outstanding.

I think I’m mostly enjoying the subtlety funny parts. There are some brilliant jokes in this. Like the two ladies storming out in front of the other down the road.

Gillian Jacobs, Sarah Paulson.

I did not realize that was Jamie until later. She was amazing.

Jamie's episode in season 3 is amazing too. She's become a hell of an actor later in life.

For what it's worth, I loved the first episode of season 3. It felt like a short film in style, and a unique approach for the series as it's mostly silent, or the dialogue is very muted. It focuses on imagery and editing to tell a story. Worthy of a second look.

Anyone else underwhelmed by S3 of Welcome to Wrexham? I still enjoyed the production value of the football footage and the personal stories but a few things I was interested in, like the FA cup, got skipped over. Also I know the documentary is basically an ad for the team and sponsors but it went a bit overboard this season. Felt like the season was rushed out to promote Deadpool.

Not sure I've missed it or is it another thread but Presumed innocent on Apple TV was a great show. Season finale was last night and thought it was great.

I'll be giving this a watch but hard to get too excited about it. I've read the book and seen the movie so...

I’m sure this will be unpopular I didn’t like season 3 of The Bear

In fact I would say it went down hill after each season, Season 1 being the best

It’s not an unpopular opinion. Everyone has basically expressed that season 3 was not very well put together, except for an episode or 2.

I thought they all sucked

That first episode was the worst re-cap ever

Lazy and boring

Agreed. its really well done. Peter Sarsgaard steals every scene he's in

Special Ops Lioness was ok. A bit military propaganda at times and the writing/acting wasn’t exactly mind blowing but it was fine. Except Nicole Kidman. She ruined every scene she was in with her rubber expressionless face. Hollywood needs to stop casting her.
