I believe in the Jays.

That score definitely flattered us. That first half was one on the worst performances we’ve ever had. We were just standing still with the ball, no movement off the ball, and not putting any pressure on defence.
We were much better in the second half after the subs, especially once Henry was on as well. Camargo, Gutierrez, and Henry all actually progressed the ball a bit and created some excitement. They should all be starters moving forward.

28. Opponents are played 4 times each.
3-22-3 still possible!

The season is just over half way, still a chance to Draw into the playoffs.

Glad that they are looking to add. There is still time to make a run.

He’s got experience in the league and has shown he can score some goals. Hopefully it’ll work out and he’ll get goals on the board.
Anyone know what’s up with Musse? How badly do they regret rushing him back for the Whitecaps?
Edit: I can read. Sounds like he’s getting close. A Musse/Wahling/Warschiewski/Wright attack is hopefully a massive step up on what they’ve been rolling out lately. And ideally Kamden comes back and plays how he did last year and not how he did in the first months of this season…

Kamdem has been training so I think he'll be back soon. Would much prefer to see him on the bench over Tom Field, who's a good depth guy but just isn't good enough to rely on at this level.

Wright signing confirmed by Cavalry and Lleyton Brooks released by mutual agreement. That’s a shame, I liked what he brought to the table and feel he was on the verge of breaking out in a big way.

I thought Brooks was disappointing. Had flashes but never really amounted to much.
One can dream, but hopefully his contract termination leads to Bevan being back with the team. He's been posting workout videos on Instagram.

His flashes were more than any other winger showed this year. He just needed one of his chances to go in and get that confidence. Had a few great chances off a post and a couple of nice saves to deny him. Wish him the best and time to see what happens next

I'm just glad that Tommy is mixing things up, because what ever they were doing wasn't working.

Story of Cavalry's season really. Didn't actually get on the scoresheet until his final touch of the ball, in a consolation goal. That's why this club is in 6th place right now when they were the favourites to win the league.
Not the only one who has struggled. Akio was terrible this year. Shaw has not been good. Dias was largely disappointing. Chanda and Myroniuk need development.
Glad to see they're at least trying to change it up with the Wahling and Wright signings.

As disappointing as this season has been so far, the threshold for getting into the playoffs is pretty low. Still lots of time and hope!
In fact, what has finishing at or near the top of the league gotten us? Maybe coming at it from the other side will help. (Half joking).

Brooks and Dias were a bit too showboaty at times (at one point in one of his first home games Brooks ended up tripping over the ball doing too many stepovers) and their decision making/final ball wasn't always great, but I thought they both brought some actual excitement to the team. You felt that something might actually happen as they ran at defenders, instead of constant passing the ball around, getting nowhere.

Charlie Trafford at CB while Callum Montgomery is nailed to the bench. Guessing Montgomery won't be with us after this year.
