In my opinion, the US is going hard into business grants and subsidies. Some of these states are offering sweetheart deals that we just can't (and shouldn't) try to match. Unless we are fine with spending Federal and Provincial revenue on making sure Ontario gets a few extra car plants (to the tune of essentially paying for the jobs themselves), I am not sure that is a good enough trade as Azure is suggesting.
