He was playing internationally for Kazahkstan as recently as 2020. I wonder if he just stayed and made a life for himself there.

Guess I answered my own question, but was the defense that good in 20-21 for him to be on the taxi squad? Or just not given a proper opportunity?
Kylington began requiring waivers in 2020-21, but he was caught in a blueliner logjam and only played eight of the 56 Flames games that season and spent two-thirds of the season on the taxi squad.
