Director of Secret Service says that they never had anyone on the roof of the building where the shooter was located because the roof was sloped and 'safety' was a concern.
lol.
Can't they just admit that some flat slob that was supposed to guard that sector was busy eating twinkies and didn't see the shooter walk by and climb up the roof?

This thread is heated, I wish I knew about this thread before. A good place to come blow off some steam.
The hatred for fellow mankind in here is palpable. It is kind of sad politics can make people so hateful.

This is a very weird thread.
Is it so hard to believe that some crazy man with a gun tried to kill Trump? Crazy people with guns have been trying to make names for themselves on a daily basis in the USA since what, Columbine? This is going to be the new next big thing. Apparently no one cares about school shootings anymore, so Joe Crazy is going to go to the local 7-11, buy a gun, and see who he can shoot because 'murca.
It isn't going to stop until the mental health crisis and the ridiculous ease of access to
high powered weapons in the USA are fixed.
Good luck with that though. Excuse me while I go get my M16 "for protection".

lol, the slope on the roof where the Service Service sniper tandem was is arguably more sloped than the roof where the shooter was. Safety reasons my ass.
Secret Service director is a bozo. At least attempt not to look like a complete moron, maybe? Giving Biden a run for his money, and he doesn't know what century he is in.

A mindless comment followed by an eye roll is an Azure special. You have to appreciate it. Like a fine wine. Made from cow manure.

I believe opendoor has addressed this a few times and provided commentary around how the average person is worse today compared to 4 years ago when they go out to buy groceries, pay for gas, etc. The stock market right now is at record highs - to the average person, that means nothing.

Do you mean to tell me that the money from that record high stock market hasn’t trickled down? I’m…what’s the word I’m looking for here…no not stunned…the opposite of that.

Today Biden said "I'll make that tax cut permanent" But then later said he wants to make the rich pay their fair share of taxes.
I'm hoping for clarification on what he meant by the first part.

Yeah the 'trickle down' was not a factor is 2019 either, when not only the markets were at another all-time high but also was the spending power of the American family - so is probably not relevant.
Also probably not relevant that Trump was in power at the time, but your typical American recalls this time/economic prosperity fondly and many give Trump credit - where this prosperity was more likely in spite of him/his policies than because of them

I’m guessing he is talking about the tax cuts that expired for the middle class that Trump implemented and let expire. He didn’t let the cuts for the rich expire

Something trickled down on me, but definitely not money.
