I don't love Monson's defense but this group is pretty thin on talent relative to the top teams in the CFL. Roberson had a few picks yesterday but otherwise he's looked like he's lost a step this season and Richardson got torched last night.

Unless the cfl grants an exemption or changes the rules he will be here for his contract unfortunately while he single handedly destroys a franchise. Terrible GM, scout, coach and d coordinator. Unfortunately his salary counts against the team cap and if you fire him you can’t pay anyone to do his job.

Since Chris Jones returned to Edmonton in 2022, he is 8-33 in 41 games. Even though there's the coaches cap, I suspect that once the new owner is in place, some football operations moves will happen.
