My favourite part of all this is the deplorables reveling in the chance to pretend to be the grown up in the room/take the high ground.
I give it about 4 days before they are back to calling for Biden and similar elites to end up with life sentences...if not death penalties.

The woman Secret Service personnel did look flustered and startled, but I don't think they caused any issues with the outcome. The problem is they didn't look calm and assertive in this situation. I get that it's a high-stress situation, but you need people that can handle the stress.

And they didn't even pull out a sword and shield like Wonder Woman. DEI ruins everything.

Do you have any evidence that DEI hires in the Secret Service are any less qualified than other agents? Are standards lowered to accommodate them or are they choosing between equally skilled people but using demographics to break the tie?
I do agree that hiring based on race or gender is stupid. If that didn't exist we wouldn't need DEI programs, would we?
There was a lot of bumbling about during this situation. I didn't notice anyone in particular doing badly but I do know they should not have allowed Trump to get up, do a fist pump and walk off the stage. They say the shooter was down at that point but considering that shots were fired before they noticed him they should not have assumed he was safe.

Potentially. Equally likely, is that this 20 year old can not vote and has been hearing about how dangerous Trump is to democracy and how a second Trump presidency will destroy America. He's probably been hearing it for his entirety of high school and saw this as his opportunity to "save" America.

But he is the presumptive nominee for president. It seems like Gore had more security when he was running.
Granted he was current VP, but Trump was President so I'd assume would have more of a detail, not less.

I think you and I have a different definition of "equally". And why couldn't a 20 year old vote? He was registered to vote as a Republican.

Considering you have nothing to base your prediction on that he would have shot up a school or mall if Trump wasn't in town I don't see how either "theory" is more or less likely. Maybe you've got some insight into the shooter that you should be sharing with the FBI though.

Was going off the reports that the kid was picked on a lot and a loner. Sounds like your typical mass shooter down south with an AR.

If an employer is hiring based on DEI in any way, the standards have been lowered. DEI prioritizes gender and skin colour over skill, experience, and talent.
In the video, it states that they have a goal of hiring 30% women by 2030, instead of 100% of the best possible agents always.

I'm sorry but you can't convince me that this is the best of the best.

There's a lot of information on the shooter on social media with a lot of it being refuted within moments of it being posted.
We do know that the Feds have his cellphone and the weapon in custody.

Source of this statement?
What percentage of women would you say are among the best possible agents?
Considering the video is edited to show exactly the opposite of course not.

But yes, completely a DEI hire.

Where's the misinformation? The Director of the Secret Service is Kimberly Cheatle. The woman in the video is "not" her, but is likely one of her hires.
I guess that's too hard for some of you to figure out.

Again...I'm not saying Kimberly Cheatle was a DEI hire. I'm talking about the agent that looked flustered.
