Biden needs to come out and denounce this attack and hope there are no reprisals from Trump supporters. I hate this timeline.

My guess based on watching coverage is:
- Guy pulls out gun and gets 2-3 shots off, clips Trumps ear. Hits crowd.
- Then there are a cluster of shots, probably Secret Service taking out shooter.
- You can hear Secret Service guy say "shooter is down", at that point they evacuate Trump.

In going I will say if there really are innocent victims I feel bad for the families and that is tragic. It is also tragic they didn't hit their target, if that man gets into power it's the end of democracy and we are heading for WW3. It's going to be immigrants put in cages and children from from families. It is Hitler all over again. So if you are opposed to taking out Trump that is like saying if you would go back in time you would wish no ill will on Hitler. Now who is unhinged? People don't seem to grasp the threat to everything this guy poses.

It will be interesting to find out who the shooter was and what their exact motives were. If there even were exact motives. It could have just been some lunatic that wants to cause chaos.
Either way, they just gave him a photo op of the century. If their goal was to kill him, which seems obvious, they just made him more powerful.

I'm actually kind of surprised that this hasn't happened earlier in the last few years, either against Trump or Biden.
Politically, the US is in pretty serious decline. Economically they're still doing great, but with the lack of quality leadership and overall insanity, it doesn't take much to devolve into something scary.
