Crazy red by Colombia to end the half. It actually looked like the Uruguayan player grabbed a chunk of Munoz’s skin which is why he reacted with an elbow but still you cant do that, especially on a yellow.

Everything been going Colombias way this tournament until that, they were just turning it on too

The diving in these games is outrageous. The ref is trying to keep the game going but they just want to out-dive each other. Ridiculous

Uruguay really don’t deserve to go though, 45 minutes up a man and horrible cross after horrible cross. Colombia vs Argentina will be a good game.

And classic fight at the end, so embarrassing.

Nice to see teams who haven’t won it in a long time make the final. When Argentina and Brazil win it the significance is not as high but if Colombia pulls it off there will be a summer long party.

Probably some suspensions for Uruguay coming with players entering the opponent terraces.

According to one of the Uruguayan players, Colombian fans stormed the Uruguayan family and friends area and attacked them, which is why the players ran into the stands to fight.

Corrupt refs, players fighting fans, awful fields, laser pointers. CONMEBOL did an amazing job of giving North American soccer fans the complete South American footballing experience. It is actually impressive

Edit: it also does not surprise me that there was not proper sectioning off of fans in the stadiums, this tournament was poorly thought through. Sure the game is in the states and not South America but not having security around players families is asking for trouble. I’ve been to soccer games in Brazil and Mexico and it is downright scary seeing how much anger rival fans have for the other side. Super embarrassing to see this. You cannot not have good security at these games. Families should not be anywhere close to opposition fans

Another angle , just disgusting on all fronts to see this. They better have tons of security for the final in Miami. Could potentially be even worse than this without proper sectioning off areas.

Tons of drunk Colombians and Argentinians, all mixed in together to watch a final. What could go wrong

I hope this tournament gave the world cup organizers a wake up call. Besides how horrible the fields are this is not a normal north American sporting event. This isn’t a Giants vs Eagles game, its 10x more extreme than that. They better get their #### together or this next world cup is gonna be this Copa America on steroids

Bentacur throwing a glass bottle into the crowd and hitting a Uruguayan fan instead. These videos are honestly insane

Uruguayan officials throwing ice at Colombian fans then a Colombia fan trying to enter their box.

Meh. I went to Liverpool vs. Real Madrid and it was awesome.

Granted...that didn't have the caveat of being in Florida.

Lol true about Florida.

It’s more so there is not nearly enough security at a game with a very intense atmosphere between two south American rivals.

The final will probably be half Colombian fans mixed with half Argentinian fans. It’s a recipe for another disaster.

I can't say I know the answer, but it takes two hands to clap. Fans are going to be fans and taunt the opposing team's families as long as they're within earshot. Can't change that. But families of players have to control themselves and not react. Seems like the families reacting just gets a rise and more people join in and it boils over when tempers rise and people get caught up in the moment. I can't see enough security being hired in a short period of time. But I imagine every fan will be checked thoroughly, and bottles with caps won't be allowed to be sold, alcohol will stop being served early, etc. You could smell the alcohol in some of those videos.

I don’t get the fans are going to be fans and taunt families thing. Like why? The match is over, your team won, celebrate with your fans, show some class and leave others alone. I guess I’m old.
