I went Coronato ... his AHL numbers coupled with showing at the NHL level says play in the top six to me.

Yep...at this point I hope his ceiling is Cammaleri.
But who next??
I see Bruz getting some early love, which is defendable based on his great season in the OHL.
I imaging Stromgren may get some love based on his past 6 months, but his track record is poor.
I am leaning towards Pelletier as he has:
-dominated the CHL
-had a very strong performance in the World Juniors (ppg)
-dominated the AHL, performing at a ppg since his arrival
This year, he will either (1) build upon his limited NHL experience to take a step forward alongside Backlund and eventually become an elite third-liner, or (2) have trouble staying healthy and holding a spot to eventually become a Curtis Lazar-esque fourth -liner.
My vote is open to be swayed though!

Tough choice, and I guess I will be on this hill for a couple of rounds, but my pick is Honzek.
Non-stop motor, speed, size, shot - I think he what it takes to become a top-line forward still. One injury filled disappointing season shouldn't knock him down - yet.

I am more excited about Brzustewicz and Morin (and probably Gridin too), but I went with Coronato because he is right on the verge of making it, and I am still hopeful (but less so) of a Cammalleri type upside.

I vote based on ceiling potential and I'm still big on what Brzustewicz will develop into. He had 4 points less than Parekh while winning his own awards and a bunch of accolades around the OHL. I think he has top-pair upside, but that will be filled by Parkeh and Brzustewicz will be an elite 2nd pair anchor for years and be able to step up if Parekh misses time.
Coronato (and Pelletier) seemed like they would top out at middle-6 or 2nd-line so not as impactful as what Brzustewicz can develop into IMO.

I'm just going to keep following this list in roughly this order. Current vote in bold.

^ not sure I have Morin ahead of Honzek, Gridin and maybe Stromgren with his recent play.
I think I'd likely flip Honzek for Morin in your groupings.

I completely agree with Bingo. I think I'd also move Grushnikov up to A tier and Sergeev & Misa down to B tier.

I wouldn't flip anyone I'd just straight up put Brzustewicz & Morin into the A- grouping... I don't think they've shown enough to say that they have a high likelihood of being NHL'ers yet.

Fair, but I think Morin has fewer holes in his game than those guys, and is more project able to the NHL. But it’s just my opinion and it’s why we vote!

I went Coronato last round but I'm switching to Honzek. Sure he had an off year but he's more intriguing to me for his ceiling.

Order has gone as I expected ...
First sign of intrigue is 2nd place in this round as a projection into round 4. Looks like Brzustewicz over Honzek but you never know where the Coronato votes go.

Same here.
Think giving Coronato a consistent role stapled to Backlunds wing and slowly progressing him into the top 6 once we dump Kuzmenko is the way to go.
With his non stop motor, I see a strong 2 way goal scoring winger.
The big thing for me is he can create his own shot.

I had in my head, for some reason, that this was going to Coronato's third full year as pro. He only has one full year under his belt . I think I was blending him with Pelletier. Because of that, I had him lower on my list and couldn't really figure out why he was still so high with everyone. First year as pro running at a ppg is pretty pretty good. At least now I have a renewed excitement for Coronato and I feel better. I still have a good feeling about Grushnikov although I flip between him and Brzustewicz.

This kind of voting is baffling to me. You understand that the objective is to come up with a collective rating for CP? If you think Coronato is a better prospect than Honzek, you should be voting for him so that the collective CP rankings most closely match what you think.
