The Flames D prospect pool has to be one of the best in the league no?

With all the big names we now have, it's going to be interesting to watch Jurmo and Hurtig this year coming across the pond and seeing how they fair.

Flames may be alright in shootouts in years to come.

I have to say, this was the most impressive camp I’ve been to and it’s camp #11 for me. Future is very bright.

Love seeing Parehk and Mews chatting at the end. They could be a huge part of our blue line for years to come. I hope they are tight.

Tip of the hat to the scouts. Some really great picks this past draft but also some really solid pick ups in trade. Brzustewicz, Jurmo, and Grushnikov all looked great out there and will be solid additions to the Flames in the future.

That was fun. With no point of reference, I have no idea if these guys are any good in relation to their peers, but man, it seemed like a skilled group.

Apparently all four of the OHL players drafted this year have been friends with each other for years.

Battaglia and Misa were terrific as well.

I really hope we sign isa Parekh after his college career. Get a degree then come play for the mavericks at least, but I think he's got NHL level potential. Smart player.

Tacoman, your son looked great on the YouTube feed.

Stromgren was very strong. Totally different player than what I have seen other times I've watched him.

Misa and battaglia had amazing chemistry.

Mews should have gone 1st or 2nd round.

Will be interesting to see more Jurmo and Hurtig this year.

Gridin was a bit quiet. I thought coronato could have stood out more, but was pretty good. Honzek had moments but needs to sustain that more.

I think theres a real chance our bottom pairing this season is playing in this tournament. Grushnikov-Parekh
Parekh is still raw but the talent is obvious.
Grushnikov almost the opposite- so polished and steady that he is a sleepy player, but rock solid. His stick and body were smothering things.

At this point, just Lindholm for Kuzmenko straight up would look like a win for the Flames. The fact, that the Canucks threw in three other assets who are looking pretty good so far is a lot of gravy (obviously, a long way to go between a prospects camp and being fulltime NHLers).

Any of the other prospects not at the tournament need to be paying attention.

One of Grushnikov or Soloyov on the parent team this winter. Solo has to clear waivers, does he not? That might give him the edge.

Given Lindholm's play the previous 16 months he would have been worth a 2nd rounder at the time.

That was a wizard trade by Conroy.... however having a clueless all-star committee who obviously doesn't watch hockey helped! The Canucks traded for an All-Star!! hahahahahhaa
