Unless I'm missing something that's an unreal return for Edmonton
McLeod is way too one dimensional, Savoie has a significantly higher ceiling
Savoie just starting his ELC, turned 20 in January. #9 overall just 2 years ago

What?? Surely Adams could’ve gotten more for the 9th overall pick just two years ago. Even if Savoie doesn’t pan out the premise behind this trade is totally STUPID from the Buffalo side.

I'll echo the same, this trade makes zero sense to me, could Buffalo not find a better way to add scoring depth than trading one of their top prospects.
This is a no-brainer trade for Edmonton even in a "contention" window.
What can we get from Buffalo for Andersson?
