The longest outage of Xbox live in a decade is ongoing right now. What a piss off. Done work, rainy tuesday night, ready to game. Can't log on. What a #### show.
Right when an add on for flight sim that I've been waiting for releases.
Silly that I even need the Xbox live service to play an offline game, on PC
Yeah the constant need to be online annoys me to no effect. I dream of the day that Gamepass cloud gaming on the phone can actually be allowed to download a game or 2 on your phone and being able to play them on a flight instead of having to stream. I also do console sharing with a buddy, so my console is his home console. So when outages like this happen I can only play offline games that are assigned to the home console. That leaves me with exactly 2 choices, COD MW3 or Diablo 4. Both needed updates yesterday during the outage, so couldn't even play anything.
The hockey itself looks and plays better, but basically everything else is the same or slightly worse than any other NHL game over the past five years.
it's the same as with Madden ... you can buy them every 3 or 4 years and it's like you've got a roster update. And it's amplified if you, like me, just play offline. Franchise mode just never gets any work.
I last got NHL22 and thought about getting NHL25 again in the fall. But seeing how poorly NHL24 has been received, I might hold off.
I really want to pull the trigger on it but I've already spent so much and the price was the same before the sale started. I've added it to my cart so many times.

$200+ dollars?!?!
(Who am I kidding, I've dumped more money than that already this sale!)
And I do have a bunch of these on my wishlist already.
Ah, isthereanydeal isn't of any help here as they've added games over time to the bundle and the history doesn't really matter.
I own two of the games and have five wishlisted. They would cost $175 separately and I don't know if I'd play the other games at all so I'm not sure what I'm going to do.
As for games I have already bought during the sale, I'm really enjoying Songs of Conquest and Tape to Tape. I also got Coin Pusher Casino which is pretty cool if you treat it like a puzzle game instead of a gambling sim. It takes serious strategy (and patience) to make a profit on some of the machines.

You and I both know what you are going to do.
Thanks for the bundle info, I am tempted to hop on it myself. Xenonaughts 2, Terra Invicta and Manor Lords was already highly on my radar. :P

Huh. ####, that publisher also has a lot of new games coming in 2024 that look mighty interesting.
Well, time to retire early anyhow and get some more gaming in!
I've also been picking up the odd Kairosoft game as they put them up on sale. The small bundles are very nicely priced. It's all small iphone games with the same pixel art theme but they are all enjoyable time sinks I have found.

That's another reason I'm hesitating. I've got enough to play so I think I'll wait until the winter sale.

I've only played Game Dev Story. It was fun for what it is. Are any others decent? I'm definitely not paying $200 for their catalogue.
Speaking of the eshop, a lot of the games I've bought this week were ones I had for Switch. Some of them I can emulate but I want my Steam Deck to be my main mobile gaming device so I'm rebuying my favourites. I've done the same with stuff I have on GOG and Epic.
They all follow the same theme just with a different coat of paint. They have some super cheap mini bundles but I've enjoyed Mall Story, Dungeon Village, Pocket League and Grand Prix.
Totally get you about the full library bundle lol.
