I'd rather have Tanev at 34 for awhile , long term Canuck throughout his nhl career.

Desharnais served a purpose for the OIlers - he could do some heavy lifting in front of the net. Who is going to do that now? Certainly not Stetcher

Meh, he's going to one of 4 rotating in and out of bottom pairing, he'll be sheltered, Canucks just need some NHL defencemen for depth. Lost a 6'6 defencemean, add a 6'7 defenceman
