That doesn't make anything mid-rise imminent in the East Village either.
Minto is moving on their Richmond project first and also have Alto Sunnyside on the list that has an approved DP already.
There are signs of live for EVC by Copez but that proposal has been around since 2015. It's also mostly high rise, and I'll believe it when a BP is applied for.
Vibe from Fram has been crickets since Verve finished construction five years ago.

Had to go to a bank today, and that RGMG.
What is it, 1989? So dumb that I had to go in to the bank for something as simple as it was. Update your website, Scotia

What is there to learn?
Why did the chicken cross the road? Cause it was a stupid moron!
That’s how chefs roast a chicken.

I came across these links on another forum which should be of tremendous interest for CliffFletcher:
https://www.outsideonline.com/outdoo...-more-drivers/
https://www.bicycling.com/news/a4644...than-cyclists/
Quote:
A study conducted in 2019 by the Danish government observed more than 28,000 cyclists with cameras set up at intersections. Electrek.co reported that, “Compared to studies by the Danish Road Directorate that found 66 percent of drivers broke traffic laws, the camera-based bike study found that just 4.9 percent of cyclists broke laws when riding on bike paths. When bike paths were not present, that figure increased to 14 percent.
|
But I'm sure Danes are just a completely different species of human compared to us or something.

Based on...??
See the Outside link that put Floridians on bikes around 88% law abiding and drivers 85% (but EXCLUDING speeding and distracted driving).

Cyclists might not be better than drivers but they certainly aren’t worse. They are drivers.
For example in a car I routinely speed, routinely rolling stop stop signs, and occasionally go through red lights that shouldn’t exist. On a bike I just rolling stop stop signs and go through red lights that shouldn’t exist.
So on balance I break the law on likely 100% of trips biking and driving. I break the law more driving.

I volunteered to serve breakfast at the drop in centre a few years ago.
It was an interesting experience, berated by one guy for the quality of the food and then they applauded us afterward which I wasn't expecting. overall a good experience.
