Flames Flames sign Martin Frk (1 year, 2 way deal)

https://twitter.com/user/status/1807855445404704770

Expecting this to be mainly for the Wranglers and to push Coronato

1 way 2 way deal! Conroy is a wizard!

(I'm assuming you meant 1 year which, fine, warm body)

Would have preferred Phillips for Wranglers support but Frk is decent. He has a cannon of a shot if I remember right but I might be confusing him with Pulkkinen

Frk has a ridiculous shot, on the rush and as a one-timer on the PP

He's an AHL all-star but lacks the complete game to be an NHLer

100%, hence the 2 way. Frk has only played in a handful of NHL games over the last few years.

You could also say he lacks the complete name.

Having the AHL team in Calgary has to be a benefit in this case.
