Don’t see a thread - but it looks like Stolarz has signed with the Leafs.

All this said, Conroy has been in on some of these players like Stephenson and Debrusk and probably others. And left empty handed.
Of course, he’s not going to pay for 7 years or quite as much money…but intent and type of player they are targetting is clear and he’s not just taking long shots either on July 1.
There is a cost of doing business if you’d want set the path, even if it’s a few years out, with getting players with specific attributes.

The other thing is, if your biggest asset the next 3 years is cap scape, sure pump Stephenson up tell him he's worth $7 but only for 3 years and let another team pay him over $6m for full term, just making that cap space a little bit more valuable

I want Tarasenko on a 1-year deal and then flip him at the deadline. Honestly, what other team can give him as much opportunity as Calgary?

It's actually been great! Driving up all these prices on our division rivals!

Seems like Sportsnet is already trying out the Ron Maclean shift to his mentee Kyle B at the desk.

We don’t have room for any more wingers and we also have to be careful.
We don’t need career years from guys we want to dump and end up in a bad position in the standings.

Another 30 year old to the Oilers. Defenseman Josh Brown. 3 years 1 million per.

I am noticing no Huberdeau 10.5 specials yet. Desperately hoping for another player to take the mantle of worst contract in the NHL.

At least they're accepting their natural color palet via last names.

I hope we pull a trade today. Land the likes of Pinto, Write or Kakko. Take a chance on a young guy needing a change of scenery.
Also please take on some bad contracts!!!

Shane Pinto seems like the perfect add for this team. They get a young center which is the most glaring hole on the roster who they g could lock up for 6 years.

So Salim's big rumored "reunion" was what, Lomberg? really?

How much of the Flames being "in on it" is Conroy driving the price up on rivals and the Oilers? The Arvidsson and Debrusk ones in particular looks like they were to make the Oilers pay more.

I believe Andersson just had trade protection kick in on his contract today so highly doubtful he is getting shipped heavily if at all

No, he wanted Monahan back to the Flames but rather than suggest he wanted to see it, floated it like a rumor to get clicks

No.
He (likely) had heard the Flames would be interested in Monahan.
The Flames were interested in Monahan, but not at the contract he got.
