That’s way too much to pay, needs to be something added for that. As I posted yesterday, I think it would be a bigger deal for some further cap relief for the Sens.

it seems to me that the Flames are not connected to just about all the major UFAs, so barring a trade, the squad is pretty much the squad

I think everyone should be ready to get one of DeBrusk or Duclair, and call it a day. Maybe couple other smaller pieces in the coming weeks. I think that's a win for the Flames here and a realistic outcome.
