Medicine Hat is going to be insane to watch next year, especially if Lindstrom returns. Gonna be some eye-popping numbers

I thought the Oilers would pick him when they made that terrible trade for #32

Speaking as a guy who cannot golf to save his life, I'm very sorry you played randomly. Better luck next time.

Yeah, the Tigers had 4 kids drafted this weekend.

Lindstrom, Basha, Mrsic and St. Martin

And all of them were outscored by a kid who isn't even draft eligible for two more years.

And that's just the tip of the ice berg.

You are right, they are going to be insane next year.

Hopefully CLB doesn't poach Lindstrom and sends him back for another year of junior. They rushed Sillinger out of Medicine Hat too and may have ruined him. Hopefully they learned from it, although under different management now.

after his long injury, Columbus really would be insane to rush Lindstrom. Kid needs at least another year in Medicine Hat and stay healthy.

So happy Conroy is committed to this rebuild because there are some legit franchise altering altering talents in the next three drafts. James Hagens in 2025 has been compared to Barkov, Gavin McKenna of the aforementioned tigers in 2026 and Micki Dupont's kid Landon in 2027.

Just saw the interview, he plugged the pub hard. Great place for wings&beer, didn't know about this kid or ever see players there. And now it'll be packed with Stans haha.

This was my post from the NHL Draft Thread:

Quote:

For the 28th, I have 3 names:

Andrew Basha - #23 by consolidated ranking
Cole Hutson - #39 by consolidated ranking
Nikita Artamonov - #25 by consolidated ranking

I would be ecstatic with one of these 3 players.
We got him with our 2nd round pick. I’m absolutely ecstatic!!!

Thought we missed out when we didn’t take him at #28.

I had to log in just to roll my eyes at this.

Basha has NHL size and speed. Two things that Phillips never had.

But, here's the thing: Phillips was a sixth-round pick. It was always going to be a long-shot for him to even play games in the NHL, and yet he is one of six players from the sixth-round in the 2016 Draft to have played +30 NHL games. Phillips is a success story just for overcoming what he did to be who he is. But, by the same metric we should all be hoping that Basha is indeed "Philips [sic.] 2.0," because if he overachieves as much as Phillips did, he will become a terrific player.

The only similarity between Phillips and Basha is that they are both from Calgary. That's it.

I have no idea what that means but I bet it’s smart humour which I do not have the faculties to get. Haha.

Anyway here is a cool vid of Bash getting hyped in this video that went viral on barstool years ago. Probably the best hype speech ever.

I finally got to watch his highlight reels; wow! I can't believe we were able to get him at 41. Great wheels, fantastic shot and his ability to find the open man, especially against the flow of play, is incredible. He makes a lot happen out there on his own and he's not relying on his teammates to get him his points.

It would be great to see him play his rookie season in 2026/27 along with his current teammate, McKenna. One can dream.

Good advice. You should show him how to do it, just in case.
