Ang Lee?
Did you know Ang Lee is a Flames fan?

He must have picked up the cap when he was filming Brokeback Mountain here.

He's also explored the potential of doing a hockey movie.
Funny followup, last summer someone put a "Jack + Ennis cairn on Brokeback - Moose Mountain - where some of the filming occurred.

I read somewhere that during the filming of Brokeback Mountain, when they were shooting the rodeo scenes they told the extras in the stands to cheer as if they Flames had won the cup. I thought that was pretty neat!

I am sure there is some "statute of limitations" on Fata's, but nonetheless...
I always find it neat when non-Calgarian celebrities are huge Flames fans.

Still can't forgive him for Brokeback mountain or making the hulk into a whiny depressing wuss.

I had a hard time finding the thread. I don't think the search engine returns results on words 3 letters or less. Hence Ang Lee, the most logical of search terms, wouldn't have come up anyway.

I don't want to say too much, but my dad was pretty much responsible for that. He (my dad) got Ang tickets to Game 4 against Vancouver, and he was hooked ever since.

Short answer, yes. My dad knows a lot of people both in the film industry and the Flames organization.

There is another Hulk being made. A different director and Edward Norton playing Dr. Banner.
The Hulk actually looked cool in the last one so maybe they can keep that going but leave the cornballishnissity and stupid ending out of this one. It is in production right now and that probably means it comes out next summer.

Famous Taiwanese director. I guess the western released movies you would be familiar with that he has done are Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, The Hulk, Brokeback Mountain.
