It wasn't unjust. It was very Edmonton. That overblown story led to Holland overreacting and handing Kassian that beautiful 4 year contract that they had to pay the Coyotes a 2024 2nd round pick and 2025 3rd round pick to take off their hands. Tkachuk really has been a thorn in the side of that organization which is why I could never not like him.
Kevin Lowe made that decision, not Holland.
Lowe was tickled pink they he had a situation where he hit a situation where he could defend the code, and have some kf the hockey world agree with him...against the Flames no less.
