That's a great highlight package for a guy with 11 goals

if nothing else we should have a pretty skilled AHL team before too long and need some big bodies down there

I live in Prince George currently and managed to get to 7-8 Cougars games this year. I will start with saying the Cougars were a pretty good team which had Laing on the 4th line usually. My general feel is I always wanted more from him. He’s big but I always wanted to see him more engaged physically, he looks a bit like Bambi on the ice at time but seems to skate well, but I think my main critique would be my comment to my friend I attend games with was that I felt he had a very low hockey IQ. He always seemed to be slightly behind the play and chasing the play instead of anticipating or dictating play. But hey, I’m no Jerome Iginla so who am I to say anything. Just my 2 cents.

Powerplay Quarterback
Really young, playing fourth line. Obviously has some highlight reel hands.
Great pick could turn out as a bottom six guy with some scoring. Solid pick especially at this point.

All I can get
Hunter's dad, Quintin Laing was a teammate of Mikael Backlund's in Abbotsford (okay, one game... but still).
