Bases loaded 0 out.
Bases loaded 1 out.
2 runs.
Then Kikchui unlucky that inning, shouldn't have given the one run, until he serves up a softball to Soto.

Nate doing Nate things. Getting hit hard right away, as usual.
He thinks he throws harder than he does.

What a fragile team. A fluke, followed by a perfect bunt, and then the wheels fall off.

My favourite part about all of this is how the Yankees actually hit baseball's. When the Jays were rallying it was hit batters, soft contact, and Vladdy celebrating a double play ball like he won the world series

What I find interesting is that the Yankees are doing what the Angels never could. Harness the 2 best players in baseball into a winning team.

If only Schenider wouldn't be in so much awe of Nate becuase he's tall. Jays have battled back with the bats, but Pearson has been in a turnstile all season. Kikchui staying in for a few more batters and Jays would be in the lead right now.

It is funny how the Yankees have done nothing all series except for a 4 batter string where they all basically hit homeruns. And the Jays could never pull off a bunt like Volpe. That was perfect.

Some horrible calls by the ump screwed Richards. Credit where credit is due. The Yankees can actually hit the ball and they are. Jays will lose the next two hopefully and end this charade.

Now we send in another pitcher to clean up Mayza's mess. What a farce. May as well put in Kirk or Clement to pitch at this point.

Richards is the only bullpen arm I would trust.

Garcia was, but throwing so hard he hurt himself.

Mayza at least was once was good, more than can be said for Pearson or Francis.

Halfway through the year now, 7 games behind last year.

Jays DFA Mayza.

Really disappointing to see a really valuable pen leftie completely fall apart. Bullpen arms are like kickers in football…they suddenly begin to suck and often don’t figure it out.

Blair and Barker have hypothesized that, because he’s pitched so many innings in the AL East without spectacular stuff, that the book is really out on him and other teams have figured him out.
