I have a family member that plays in the USHL. So I have seen him play.
It's my opinion, we are allowed to have differing ones and not agree with everything the Flames do.
I will be happy for him to prove me wrong. Ecstatic even.

This kid oozes skill after reading up / watching highlights. The Flames need an injection of that.

NHL Shot and release, can play with a bit of power but is mostly a complimentary finisher. Off-puck play is a negative, and affects his defensive play. Very skilled, but needs to play less on the perimeter.

Mckenzie said that the guys ranked 21 to 50 on his list could potentially go in any order this year.
He was ranked at 37... not really a smartest guy type pick. Just picked a guy they like.

I think people expect way too much with the 28th overall pick.
Take a look at history. Chances are this pick doesn't make the nhl either way so might as well swing for the fences.
