This kid has it all . Watched interviews with him and he has quick wit , intelligence and is quite charismatic.
Being compared to Erik Karlsson....woah....but said to have a way better defensive game.
So he and Bruce are the future huh....WOW. I haven't been this excited since we had Suter and Chopper as a D pair . 2 scary defenceman who can shoot PPQB and have elite vision, positioning.

Like a lot about it. Canadian CHL kid is an important consideration these days for markets like ours... Buium made me nervous and the flames have loads of defensive defencemen in the organization. What the team is lacking is dynamic offensive ability and he brings it. Think he's going to be fun to watch.
Too bad the flames couldn't have jumped up with some of the later/crappier picks they have and grabbed another high pick and gotten a high end forward too, but am sure they'll have a chance to grab a forward high in the draft next year as long as Florida does ok

I like that the Flames are drafting a guy who does something at an elite level. The mistake is to get a “balanced, all around” guy who is able to do a lot of things decently but nothing extremely well.
Through the draft, I hope they get more guys like Parekh. They don’t all have to hit but aiming high should be the goal. Let’s avoid high floor, low ceiling guys.

The things that make him great are hard to teach
The things that need to be improved are totally possible
