Does he get 6+ on a long term deal (7,8 years) from someone? I think there is a reason he has only had short term deals in his career. Will definitely be interested to see what he signs for and term, also how quickly it happens.

I like $5MM on a 1 year deal without a NTC/NMC. Keep him until the deadline to mentor the younger Russian guys, trade at the deadline again.

I'll miss the personality.
I'll miss the swashbuckling play style.
I won't miss it enough to justify the contract he is going to get from someone.
I'd make this trade again in a heartbeat though.
