A thought becomes a rumour if someone says it's a rumour and people believe it. I would bet that most "rumours" posted online start off that way.

A good example is how Friedman, who is unquestionably a reliable insider, will post a thought (clearly labelled as such), and it immediately gets rumour status as it works its way around the internet.

I do wonder if Ottawa or Buffalo could be viable destinations for Kadri. Close to home, while also bilking those teams of their high assets knowing they need to take themselves to that next level.

Personally I don't want to get rid of Kadri. He has jam and can finish his goals. If teams want to call about Huberdeau I'd be more inclined, although I'd think there is much less interest in that contract.

Only makes sense. To me it sounds like Kadri is happy here, would probably be willing to go to a winner, but the deal needs to make sense for the Flames.

Well if they call and you listen & discuss it, you're exploring.

If they call and you say he's not available then you're not.

I'd presume this is a big pile of nothing to it. Like the rest of the veterans on the roster if a team gives you a really good offer then they'll consider it. But it doesn't mean they're actively trying to trade everyone.

this. If the right offer comes along and Kadri waives, by all means, pull the trigger. But absolutely no reason to sell low here. I'm far from Kadris biggest fan (primarily, I'm just still pissed we gave away a 1st just to sign him to 7x7), but I don't mind having him around during the rebuild either.

Not able to get much so far, but I was told people are calling the flames on a lot of roster players:

Kadri
Andersson
Coleman
Pospisil
Weegar

Flames are open to listen to all offers, but Craig won’t be giving up anything for free here. Nothing imminent.
I still don’t see Weegar moving but I think anyone is fair game outside of Wolf for the right price.
