No, upset I’d have to choose between those two studs. And also laugh at Seattle for picking Yakemchuk so high.

He did predict Michov to the flyers last year though, to be fair. I just can't see him sliding that far.

Well, with Demidov likely coming over after a season more in Russia I doubt he goes past Montreal.

There was also the story about Philly being hot on him and willing to put in a lot to get him. On the flip side, we've also had rumours here that there's a deal in place if a player slides. All very exciting, even if everyone ends up picking where they're currently slotted.

Hearing they treat the draftees pretty good this weekend, much more than not long ago.

The draft is not for the players, it’s the orderly distribution of future revenue centres for a rich persons play thing.

If that's how it goes down I predict the next 4 go:

Utah - Silayev
Ott - Iginla
Sea - Parekh/Dickinson
CGY - Catton

Works for me!

I just realized we have two 3rd round picks in a row. That's going to be a pretty juicy slot, I'm excited to see who they get.

Anaheim's the wild card for me. Levshunov at 2 and Lindstrom at 4 have been rumoured for a while, but Buium over Demidov at 3 would be a big call.

In this scenario, I hope Conroy can trade for Ottawa’s pick while keeping 9th overall. Would give them a real chance at getting both Catton and Iginla.

Wouldn’t be surprised if Ottawa takes Senneke. Also wouldn’t be surprised if the Flames took him too.

Yep definitely could see either of those scenarios.

Ottawa takes Senneke, Flames then take Tij.

Or Flames take Senneke instead of Catton.

In any of those cases, think we're getting a great prospect.

Draft weekend is fun!

While unlikely, I wouldn’t say 0.
Sennecke is the wild card, he’s the hottest name yesterday and today with ANA, MTL and OTT all rumoured to be very high on him.

Yes! Conroy needs to be bold here.

I think they will try to get Iginla if Demidov is chosen by another team.

Beat him to it last night when I lost my mind lol...

I think it's still unlikely, but there is a path...
I think each team ahead of the Flames could easily prefer a prospect that falls to their slot on par or similar to Demigod Demidov. So much intrigue...

Instead of BPA I think we should take the player who's name is easiest for CP members to spell correctly.
