That last three minutes of the Panther's just playing perfect defense, was a chefs kiss, and the painful puck battle in the corner for the Oilers.
And now Oiler fans, take tonight and think about your run, and pretend that is a sign of good times.
An aging roster, with nothing good coming up from the farm, and no real draft picks for the next couple of years. A terrible cap situation, major free agent decisions coming up with Draisaitl, Bouchard, and McDavid.
Its really hard for teams to get back to the Stanley Cup two years in a row, and if the Oilers don't make it next year and win it, that window that is slowly sliding down now, slams shut on the Oiler fans fingers.
