How about the ones that walk 4-5 abreast?

They deserve to get smoked. But I saw none yesterday. Just a bunch of people walking 2 by 2 well on their side of the yellow line.
Actually had a cyclist demand all the pedestrians going both directions move so they could get thru because they didn’t want to wait anymore. Ffs is this your first time cycling? It’s like a single lane highway. You pass in the oncoming lane when it is safe to do so. Otherwise you wait patiently until all the slower moving people have passed each other. And if there’s so much oncoming traffic, you wait and wait some more.

Another pathway gear grinder. Why do some people walk with their dog on their left hand side? Such a huge possibility of a horrible mishap that way.
Makes it hard to get around them as well (passing them while going the same way) with our current hyper anxious foster dog (who is getting better but still not there yet). If your dog is on your right and I put mine on the left just to get around you, it works.

Sounds like we need to invest in more separated pathways. Oh, wait, no sorry we can't afford that we have another $150 million interchange we need to build in Cranston.

Dogs should always be on the right, preferably on the grass so when they decide to randomly stop or bolt, they aren't in anyone's way.

Dogs that heel go on the left so they can bite your face off faster.

I'll counter with a stupid pedestrian/jogger anecdote.
Fish Creek, I'm biking around a corner nice and slow since visibility is bad. 3 people appear, running on the wrong side of the trail right in front of me, no apology, no acknowledging, I yelled at them all. Noticed they had little numbers pinned to their shirts, I realize they were taking the "inside lane" to improve their time. Idiots.

The only way this stops when a cyclist inevitably runs over a dog that lurched left, and it makes the news. It will be sad, but eventually conversations will happen and dog walkers will be educated on how to share the pathways with other everyone.

Hmm. That’s weird that they’d have numbers pinned to their shirts.

If cyclists can wear their full Tour de France kit for their 5 km ride on city pathways why cant runners wear numbers when they arent in an actual race?

They must have been part of of loosely organized run, saw 2 more way further down the trail and a table set up with some crap. It was just funny how these dummies thought it was fine to take the blind corner on the wrong side.
That reminded me, I yelled at another person downtown along the river. I was jogging with my dog on my right, he's running on the dirt. This younger guy was literally dead center on the path, running right on the line with his elbows sticking out and swinging away.

Because the kit is way more comfortable than anything else? How tf do you know how long they are riding?

I cannot for the life of me get my wife (or her mom) to understand this concept: it can be 5 degrees warmer outside than inside, yet feel cooler due to the breeze. It does not mean opening the windows is going to cool it down inside…

And running a fan in an empty room does not cool it down either.

Just got double-whammy gear grinded: our building elevator reeks like microwaved salmon this afternoon. Even the 45 seconds I had to spend in there was brutal. Then I get off on my floor, and as I'm unlocking my door, I see the cute woman on my floor getting on said elevator. I hear her say "Ewww!!", then look over in my direction as the door shuts, lol.
So not only did I have to deal with some idiot's microwaved salmon in the elevator, but now the cute girl thinks it was me! I felt like Jerry Seinfeld when he realizes too late his model girlfriend caught him picking his nose at a red light: "Nooo!! Nooo!!!", as the elevator closes

Open windows/doors on opposite sides of the house and you get that breeze that cools you down a bit…
