That’s a great deal for Ottawa. Even if ullmark doesn’t extend. Get out of korpisalo for a late first and if ullmark is gone, flip him for another solid return

The 25th OA was originally Boston's 1st. Traded to Detroit as part of the package for Tyler Bertuzzi. Detroit traded the pick to Ottawa as part of the package for DeBrincat.

Looking more and more like the Leafs give the reins to Woll. This was a relatively cheap price for a young guy who’s shown promise, albeit splitting the time. Could be a good deal for Montreal. Man their GM has made some good trades since he was in place.
Edit. Read it wrong. Not Montreal. Ottawa. Still nice deal.

There were lots of rumours they would not trade Ullmark to an East team. This makes the Markstrom return much more better imo knowing the Devils could have made a play for Ullmark.

Korpisalo will rebound put up a .920 save % on the Bruins backing up Swayman
Watch him have a better year than Ullmark does in Ottawa haha
