I just read the For Dummies brand of instructional books marked it's 30th anniversary a few years ago. The series seems like something that should have gone extinct before the dawn of the new millennium.

Their trademark yellow and black books would be the last place I trawl for information. Who buys these? I would love to know what kind of sales they do (but can't find specific info.)
