Don't pop your tops over the garden gnome with the sarcastically veiled posts.

We need some new mods in here to sweep the dirt into the bin. Current ones have really dropped the ball.

Yeah, those darn mods aren’t earning their $0 per year salary.

We should all quit in protest and start new accounts where we pretend to be British for a month, govna.

Just came home to a traffic ticket I apparently got in Edmonton from 2 weekends ago haha (had to go up there to help my mom move), man that place is the worst.

Was a construction zone on a Sunday with zero workers that all the locals were ripping through, so I followed suit. Oilers need to lose in the worst way, everything about that place sucks.

Flames have no one to blame but themselves for not being in the game. Enough with this bulls*** hatred for skilled, fast players. We have enough plugs and grinders. I'm tried of watching this same garbage team every year. We have a third line checker as our captain. That's the guy leading the way for everyone on this team to follow. Great guy, great checker... just like our roster... great guys, great checkers.
I understand what you are saying. But the Flames drafting better doesn't stop the Oilers from winning a lottery ticket and being gifted the best offensive player since Mario.

The Oilers would have still sucked.

The was inevitable since they got him. The fact it took so long is hilarious. It took the weakest Western Conference for them to finally get through, and play a team with zero heart in the Panthers.

Oilers won McDavid with like a 10% shot at him...spare me the "just do that" talk

I think most of us just want the Flames to focus on drafting, and drafting high enough to get some stars. Maybe our luck one day changes and we get a Superstar.

I guess it's hard to make one when they're always hung over and sore knuckles & faces from constant drunken brawls.
They were drunk?

Fine but leave the Oilers out of it, they were trying to compete when they won McDavid lol

A 10% shot because they were so bad for so long, the league changed the rules.

That the team that caused the change of rules went on to benefit from them is sickening.

Regardless of the outcome tonight, we can still be thankful for how terribly that franchise up north has been managed. We've been told for years it's not if, but when and how many. Thankfully 10 years later it might be when but it's not looking like how many.

Could you imagine if they didn't have 20% of their cap tied up in Nurse, Campbell, Brown (next year) and Neal? They might actually be talking about how many if they hadn't dumped almost $18 million for a bunch of players that amount to a single bottom pairing defensemen.

The Oilers are the epitome of never earned, always given and yet they've still managed to fumble it for almost 20 years. It's the darkest timeline but it could have been darker.

Game 7 cup finals usually are fairly timid to start no? Teams feeling each other out and not wanting to make a mistake.

The Flames/Lightning game 7 it felt like 0 shots until 10 or so minutes in.

You would think McDavid comes out firing on a flat and defeated Panthers team early on.

I think if the Coilers win tonight, I might commission a piece of art that shows McDiver holding the Cup high...while he's sitting on top of Bettman's shoulders, who in turn is sitting on top of a pair of refs shoulders.

If there ever was a team that embodied the moniker of "Never earned, always given", it's these Oilers.

Go Panthers, go

The 1st goal always matters, but I feel like it matters so much more tonight with the way the momentum has swung this series. If Florida can somehow some way get that 1st tally, I think they have a shot.

If Oilers score first I think it's lights out

Oilers are terrible if they don't get McDavid, but if they didn't win 1st OV they could have still got Eichel or Marner. Probably not enough to win with all the mistakes they made, but as a Flames fan I'd be ok with either of them and just hope our management does a much better job around these guys.

Also, if we tank for the next few years and the same teams are at the bottom, we have yet to see the odds adjust as teams can't win the lottery due to winning already. SJ could be at the bottom for a few more years, do they only have 1 win left in the next 4 years?

The refs will matter too. Calling penalties FLA loses, if they put the whistles away for the game 7, I think FLA has a chance. Way too many games so far where there are 10 and 8 PP chances in a game. 1 each will do.

Im really not sure how this will go. I just hope the refs stay out of it and let game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals be decided by the teams on the ice. Go Panthers!

42 pp chances in 6 stanley cup finals games seem much higher than a normal Stanley cup finals
