That's one of the saddest things I've ever seen. On a post outside a dollar tree in Baltimore there were 3 flyers all in a row:

Any system where there's a black market for simple life sustaining medicine has an issue.

Noted misinformation peddler, racist, and general POS Ezra Levant appears to be at it again, not helping things.

An advertising truck that is being investigated by Toronto police, after it was spotted this week driving through the city while displaying anti-Muslim images and messages, is registered under Rebel News Network, a provincial database shows.


A licence plate search through Ontario's Ministry of Transportation database shows the commercial plate attached to the truck is registered under the name Rebel News Network Ltd. — though the head of that organization says while the truck does belong to the agency, the ad itself was created by a third party.


In a phone interview with CBC News, Rebel News owner Ezra Levant said the ad was created by a group called Canadians Opposed to the Occupation of our Streets and Campuses. Levant would not divulge the identity of anyone behind the group, nor confirm if it is based in Toronto.

Dental groups reject Liberal claim that Conservatives are fuelling opposition to new plan — instead claiming it’s Ottawa spreading misinformation

The heads of several dental groups are rejecting a Liberal minister’s framing that the federal Conservatives are to blame for oral health providers’ opposition to aspects of Ottawa’s dental care plan.

The dismissal of Health Minister Mark Holland’s comments, which were made earlier this week, are the latest source of friction between Canada’s dental associations and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s government over the rollout of what’s been deemed a “historic” dental coverage program.

Several dental association presidents told the Star that the Conservative party has nothing to do with their outstanding questions over implementing the plan, while Liberal and NDP messaging around the program do.

“There has been zero pressure, really, from the Conservatives on us in any kind of fashion that would result in the low uptake of dentists registering for the program,” said Dr. Robert Wolanski, president of the British Columbia Dental Association.

“The misinformation that has been provided has been provided almost solely by … the Liberal government and the NDP,” Wolanski said, of a program that was born out of the minority Liberals’ parliamentary alliance with the New Democrats.

During a news conference on Tuesday, Holland suggested that the country’s dental associations were “actively seeking” to oppose the plan because the Conservative party was against its success and was “calling these dental associations and screaming at them and getting angry at them.”

“If you’re a conservative party, (and) you want to run against taking dental care away, fine. But calling around and bullying and creating all of this negativity, you know, I think that’s what the underlying force is,” Holland said.

Both the Canadian Dental Association (CDA) and the Conservative party have denied the minister’s claims, which Holland says are rooted in fears that Pierre Poilievre would be at a political disadvantage should the program be viewed as a success.

I had breakfast up in Sedgewick a couple years ago at one of the few places you could eat there. When I was paying the bill I noticed a newspaper stand beside the till filled with "Druthers". I'd never heard of it, so I picked one up to see what it was. The guy working the till starts getting all excited "That's the REAL NEWS!!! You need to read that, it's the real stuff!!". I could tell by the cover that it was conspiracy city, but I took it so I could see what level it was at. It's pretty wild, tons of vaxx "facts" and the like. I can't believe someone is putting them in mailboxes in Calgary now.

Ah yes, Sedgewick, Flagstaff County’s HQ. I grew up in that county. What an armpit. If you have more than two straight teeth in that country people are suspicious that you’re one of those darned highfalutin’ educated folks that’s wrecking their world. They’re proof that cousins shouldn’t marry.
