A cutter at 100+ and a slider at near 95 MPH. That's illegal.

7th worst run differential in all of MLB. Yeah, this team is hot trash.
Blow it up indeed.

Poor them unless they're Red Sox fans.

If you are a professional athlete, you know taking a SERM could make you test positive for PHD's, and any doctor that knows you are a professional athlete that might get tested, will inform you a SERM can make you test positive for PHD's.
He's either doping or there is a huge level of ignorance. Either way he's done for almost the rest of the season.

He's a 22 year old from the Dominican getting told lies by people he trusts in the Dominican, probably for years...either that it's fine, you won't get caught, or, if you do, you can claim ignorance and miss some games.
Doctors there would have zero morals when it would come to that because they are paid off pretty easily by a guy who got a $3.5M signing bonus.
Really no different than Tatis Jr and his ringworm excuse last year from his Dominican doctor.

They are all taking performance enhancing drugs - and the league knows it -
Only a select few are dumb enough not to follow the proper cycle and get caught

Yes.
I have been banging the 'it's not too late' drum.
It's too late
Blow it up
As/if someone gets hot, trade them. When Jansen was batting 0.385 through the entire month of May he is probably worth more than the 0.100 batting through all of June.

What I'd like to see happen:
1. Any pending FA worth anything traded for futures. Kiermaier, Kikuchi, Jansen, Garcia, Richards. Won't be huge returns, but get those prospect lotto tickets
2. Bo traded for futures. Below average shortstop, volatile at the plate. Hopefully a team thinks he's a tweak away from a hot streak. Probably not a massive return due to his ####ty year so far, but it's time to move on from this core.
3. Vlad traded for futures. I don't know what you can get for a 1 WAR first baseman with a peanut brain, but again maybe a team out there thinks they can tweak him and unlock the once promising talent. Again, time to move on from these guys.
4. Play the call ups a ton and see what they can do. Call up more guys too, especially relievers.
5. Go big game hunting in free agency next off season depending on what is still out there by then.
Jays don't have to do a tear it down to the studs rebuild with their ability to spend, and they have the makings of a solid pitching staff still, and some solid roster depth. What's missing is the front running offense/position player talent and maybe they can snipe some of that in free agency. Even if they can't they can still be a WC3 competitor and continue to sell off each year until a new core emerges.
They do need to get better at drafting and developing though.

I largely agree with your approach but truly when was the last time we seen any pro team do something like this? I personally agree with your thinking, but think they’ll take a Flames approach and will stick with Vlad and/or Bo until a new guy emerges. I also think they may deal from the strength position in Pitching, with those pending FAs. Those will be the first shoes to drop. Then they’ll probably evaluate this time next year and see if Bo has bounced back and wants to sign. If not he may be dealt. But I can see them wanting to stick with Vlad. Especially if he gives the hometown discount. I disagree with your assertion on Bo. He’s an average at best SS positionally, but his value is his bat. This year is an exception. Put him at second and he’s more comfortable. I also don’t think they should go big game hunting. A tear down with more show me guys as stop gaps makes sense. Why sign another Springer when they won’t be around in their prime for the next run?

In my view, Jays should make a decision to rebuild
They have 2 years of control remaining on Vlladdy and Bo, not sure if they can sign either.
George looks like he is at the end of his career,
Prospects are not overly deep,
Decision should be made, at the deadline, which players should be dealt.

When the Orioles rebuilt they had one of the lowest payrolls in the league for 3-4 seasons.
The Jays don't have to do that and field a league worst roster. They can sell off pieces (including Vlad/Bo if they want) and keep a higher payroll, a better pitching staff and a more competitive team while rebuilding.
That's why think they will do.
